Lovelife Chika = Instant Slumber Party!
This year I decided not to stress and expect and spend the Vday being spontaneous instead with my friends Nina and JLa from grad school!
I think i's safe to say that after 10 years of living in the city, it feels like it's my first time to spend Valentine's day in elbi. The moment I went out on the street, the street's been filled with college students carrying roses, chocolates, cakes and even small cutesy balloons. It was also the opening day of the UP Feb fair and there's rumors that Urbandub will be playing on opening night ( rumor is true, btw) so while the rest of the people are UP Campus bound, Nina and I were braving the streets buying drinks and ice for a private house party at JLa's. The original plan was to have dinner at JLa's, watch some Pinoy Cheesy DVD while killing time then off to the UP fair later. But we ended up accomplishing the dinner part only, because we got so busy listening to real-life "Once More Chance: The Aftermath" story in 4D! :)
After Tequila Rose got us crossed eyed, we went cyberstalking of exs (Ooops!) and little did we know that it's already close to 3 in the morning, too sleepy to go home so we decided to sleep over at Jla's instead.

Nina and I went home at around 9am still in our last night's clothes, went we ran into our freshly showered classmate in gradschool, Theia, on her way to UP Campus! Damn, I did not even bother to look in the mirror and bothered to put on some powder so I'll be at least decent enough to be seen in public.
We still left a bunch of unopened chips and alcohol at Jla's for our next girly session.
