How to survive the 3rd time watching a Live Sunday Show

It's my third time to watch the Sunday show Live at GMA's studio, so I pretty much know how it roll. Back then, the show is called S.O.P., now they call it Party Pilipinas. Let me say it straight, better to watch on TV. But then, watching and experiencing it live is also worth it, but not on a weekly basis.

So, How to survive the 3rd time watching a Live Sunday Show aka Party Pilipinas?

First, Invite Friends to come along

Few weeks ago, when I learned that my mom invited her friends to watch Party Pilipinas Live in GMA Studio, I decided to come along and invite my friends as well, too bad we only have limited tickets. 15 to be exact, otherwise, I would have invited more.

The waiting game. Gates open at 11am.

2) Take candid photos for blackmailing in denial fangirl/fanboy friends:

3) Take photos of the rehearsals:

 4) Then take photos of the actual performance as shown on TV:

5) Take Photos of performers during the opening of the show:

 6) Take photos of how far you are seated now from the stage:

During the first two times that I watched the sunday show, we were seated right in front. I can actually see the details of Regine Velasquez' Ferragamo shoes. The catch when watching in front  a) the potential of being caught in the screen for audience shots b) you will be forced to participate (as in hands over the head clap) in audience response as the cameras pan, zoom in and out.

Now on with the show...

7) Take photos of other performances:

 8) If you are easily bored like me, take photos of the fans!

I actually have a video of the teenagers in front who shoved each other, physically, then stumbled on the floor when their teen idol came on stage. It was so funny.

 9) Then take a photo of one of your friends who's shy to be caught on camera: Frankie!
And why are you wearing shades inside the studio, Frankie-J-the-Ultimate-MarianKnight?

 10) Move on and take photos of the set before they go live:

 11) Have at least one creative and fun shot with friends

 12) And because, I get easily bored, hand over the camera to my sister, who are seated near the stage and let her take photos for this blog. (Thanks Apy!)

I'm sorry but I cannot take Aljur Abrenica seriously ever since Eisen showed me the #PPSssh video that got the show on probation, where Aljur is one of the performers for the opening number.

Now more pictures of the celebrities:

May I just say, that I really love Rochelle's hair color! (Apy, get it quick!)

Rochelle's still got it. I tell ya.

This photo is dedicated to my friend, Eisen Bernard, the Ultimate Janno Gibbster, who's the only one in the crowd who cheered for Janno!

Because of that, I support you. I'm always a fan of the Ultimate Fan! Haha!

I love La Diva. Before, I can hear them outside the studio rehearsing before the show starts. Now they've kept it down.

This photo of Jonalyn is dedicated to my friend Gino Paolo Buendia, who loves Jonalyn Viray. (Right bebe? Remember you love her during our ICT days?)

I saw Jay-R three years ago in Chili's Greenbelt and didn't know that he is WHITE-ish in person.

Same with Mark Herras. I thought he is caramel skinned, but he isn't.

Good thing, the Asia's Song Bird is in the house! Ladies, gents and gays, Ms. Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.

How Cute Jennylyn Mercado is in this polka dot number. Here she is before and during the number.

Some actresses drop by to promote their show:

Here's Rhian Ramos and Raymond Gutierrez. I honestly didn't get what Rhian was saying as intro in this segment. If you watched the show last sunday, you'll know what I'm saying.

This is the second to the last gap before the show comes to an end. They play charades then guess the title of the song and the guesser will sing it. It's like a mini variety show, really.

So the players: Aljur Abrenica and Maxene Magalona.

Not much of Maxene Fan, but I loved her during her 5 and Up days. I love her when she guested at Sharon Cuneta's show years ago. Now I'm more of a Saab Magalona fan.

 13) Take photos as they prepare for the closing of the show.

Glaiza de Castro is so much prettier now than before. Her legs upstaged Maxene's.

 14) Take photos of the after show.

All four of us stayed at the back, while the rest of our gang are seated near the stage. We were at the back part then later on moved to the seats. Honestly, it's great to just hang at the back if it's not your first time, because you're not obliged to scream, shout, cheer, clap for audience participation.

But before I end this post, I would like to add this photo taken by Frankie:

Paully Valencia as the New Ultimate Fan girl of Jang, from Down to Mars. LOL!

Cute story: Frankie wanted to take a photo of Paully with this guy, even though Paully doesn't have a clue who he is. Frankie shoved Paully towards Jang, saying: Picture naman kayo ng kapatid ko! (Please have a photo with my little sister

15) Hurry to the nearest restaurant to eat. Really.

They open the gates at 11 and the show finishes at 3pm. Imagine. You're not even allowed to bring snacks or drinks inside the studio.  The Ultimate tip to survive watching the live show? Bring fun friends like what I did when I watched a concert last year !

I feel like they just renamed the SOP show to Party Pilipinas, because even the rehearsals and strategies for numbers are just the same with a pinch of a littely extra as the first two that I watched a little more than three years ago.
