UPLB Freshman Fair

Yes, you heard/read it! Something new, right?

With the new generation of UPLB students calling Carabao Park as C-Park, Freedom park as F-Park, and the ground in front of the Humanities Building where the Oblation is, as O-Park, this Fair, again is something new.

This is what they call The Freshie Fair (Freshman Fair).

No amusement park rides, just booths. Sponsored booths.

I think MOVE U.P., a student Political organization made this happen.

Held on June 18 and 20 at the Carabao Park of UPLB.

We, as graduate students, were tempted to line up and get cotton candies and other freebies. So many things have changed, huh? In three years since I went back, this is the only time that I've heard and seen the UPLB Freshie Fair.

This semester, UPLB had a fabulous Freshman Convocation in the morning then a very happenin' Freshman Night (like sort of Acquaintance Party). Then this Freshie Fair.

I wonder what's next.  How about for Hell week ( a.k.a. The Week of the Finals and last minute requirements)?

Hell week Hullabaloo perhaps?
