Moon with that "Thing" around it

My sister rushed inside the living room telling to get out and see the moon because there's something strange around it.

Followed by some story that the last time that this happened in the Universe, something bad happened. People ( as confirmed by a high school friend ) relate it to something that happened to Japan (Tsunami) lately.

I decided to text my photographer friends, tweet and post in facebook and encouraged everyone to go out and check the moon. I even texted a friend of mine in grad school while he's conducting a frat meeting just to tell him to go out and see the moon and he did.

Praning much teh?

Since I don't know what else to do, I decided to "google" the thing:

I've been hearing a lot of things about end of the world, how unprepared our country is compared to Japan and even read a very absurd thing that the Tsunami is Japan's karma from Pearl harbor...ano ba?!

Bottom line is, we are just all guests in this world, we might as well be thankful. At the end of the day, it's not how strong the concrete walls are, how sturdy our houses are, how good the government is and how efficient our media is.... but honestly, it all boils down to how strong our faith is.

People are used to believing things that are tangible. I believe we all need something to hold on to, and when everything fails... faith it is.

Regardless of religion.
