Travel Boracay: Tilapia and Chips Restaurant

Tilapia and Chips is a seven month old (at present time) restaurant in Boracay that's along the road and right before D'Mall Palengke (market). On our first night we were looking for new restaurant to eat in and there we saw Tilapia and Chips ( kind of like UK's fish and chips term, but with a Pinoy twist.)

What I like about the place is it's new, comfy, they have fast wifi that's why I was able to instagram stuff real-time.

I love how the place shows old photos of Boracay.

This is the very happenin' Station 2 in 1988.

This is the Caticlan Airport back in 1988.

The server is also very nice and polite. I think his name is BERT. He offered us the wifi for free. Normally you would ask if they have one, but Bert proactively asked if we'd like to use their free wifi. Good Job!
We were not really that hungry, so we ordered the safe one, and it's a good thing we decided to split it in half.

These are what we ordered:

Food: 2.5 out of 5
Service: 5
Serving Size: Good for two!

  • I like the fact that it's new and clean and showed old photos of Boracay. I've always wondered what it looks like before the hype.
  • We got the Dory. Maybe it's better to try other dishes. But we like the dining experience because it's away from the noise of the island, and it's near where we're checked in
