Mochi, Mochi, Ano na teh?

I already knew about Mochiko ice cream mid part of this year and I've seen the Mochiko ice cream place at the new wing of Alabang Town Center back in September.

It is only this month that I got to try and see what it tastes like with the support of my grad school friends who I think will move their sweets diet too to year 2014!

They have the little lucky chinese cats that moves for good luck. I like how they made up the half of the wall. I was telling my friend yeye, I wonder if the owners will notice if I take one.  (I'm kidding, I'm kidding!)

My friend Aya likes the store color scheme: Black and Pink

I like the pink cushions, chairs and that wall with a cartoon character.

The mochiko ice cream balls. They sell for Php 70.00/each. It's almost the same size of a guava fruit.

In a nutshell, it's ice cream wrapped in rice dough with different flavors. The best sellers are:
  • Oreo and Milk
  • Potato chip Chocolate
  • Azuki

Here's my friend Frankie, who joined the curiosity bandwagon.

Here's what we ordered:

Yeye got the Avocado flavor.

Frankie got the...I don't know if this is the Azuki or the strawberry something.  And I don't understand why it looks this way.

When in doubt, I always order the safest. I ordered the Oreo and Milk Mochi ice cream.

To be honest, it's just ordinary. Expensive for me. Frankie said we could've gone out and  bought Magnum instead.

But it was nice to try (and taste) at least once. But it's not like I got cravings that I need to have one again.

Have you tried one too?
