One Absolut Event by Androgyny Productions

When the idea of studying the LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender) Movement for my Master's thesis hit me, I kind of got nervous about my respondents. I really do not know how can I get respondents from the actual movement or members in the group.

I spent an entire Monday, browsing my phone book for possible people who might know LGBT allies and advocates. I was not expecting that they were so organized that in just a few minutes, I got referred to some people and got invited to an LGBT event!

Now, I'm in the process of doing some networking for my MS Thesis on LGBT Movement and I really want to meet passionate people in LGBT for interview so I'm super happy when my college friend Cyra of Androgyny Productions gave me exclusive invites and let me take two of my girlfriends to this private event.

Event was held exclusively at 360 at A.Venue in Makati City

Rainbow flag symbolizes LGBT
Thank you Cyra of the Absolut Vodka
Bring me pants game... He brought it!
They have Ellen Degeneres and other LGBT members being flashed on the TV at the bar

The drinks that got me hammered really bad!

Some pictures from the event:

I really had a hard time filtering pics for this post because the best (and I mean super laugh trip, wild ) memories I had for this night will remain undocumented.

I'm super happy when I got to take home this really cool Absolut Colors Vodka bottle. I even liked what it says:

ABSOLUT Colors VODKA

In an Absolut world

everybody is encouraged to be

who they are. That world is more
colorful, diverse and respectful.
Be proud of who you are and
let your true colors shine.
Absolut has been consumed
by proud people since 1879.

Cyra said they'll be releasing this limited edition of Absolut Vodka really soon!

Unfortunately I didn't bring my trusty camera, just my old point and shoot for this event. So the quality of the pictures are low.

It was my first time to attend an event exclusively for LGBT. Everyone was very friendly. It's a good thing I attended their event and saw what it is like to be in the group, I kinda get and understand their "atmosphere". It's a very fascinating community that they have going on. I'm really excited for my study because I'll be getting  them as respondents.

I didn't expect that I would be partying this hard and end up having a really great time even if I paid for it with the worst and major hangover the very next day! It's all worth it!

Cheers to Androgyny Productions and Equality!
