 Some LGBT Celebrity Allies:  (captions provided by US Magazine)

Lady Gaga
"I've always had gay friends and I have been very involved in the gay community since I was young," the "Born This Way" singer told Fab Magazine. "I feel a moral obligation to defend my fan base and make the world a better place."
 Adam
Although he's "not into dick," the Maroon 5 frontman told The Advocate in 2007 that "it would be so much easier" if he were. "Because, you know, men have a certain camaraderie with each other that's easygoing and kind of simple, when you think about it."
"It's wrong to look down upon somebody or not let somebody marry the person they want to marry because of their sexual orientation," the reality star told The Daily Gay in 2010. "It doesn't make sense to me."

I have a feeling my days will be filled surfing the internet for LGBT stuff for this will be a part of my study. *still keeping my fingers crossed*

It's always hard to write the first lines that's why I am practicing not to be a mood writer.

Useful keyboard shortcuts

I love articles like this from Yahoo.

I may be an online junkie ( like what Kuya Stew refers me to) but I am no pro when it comes to those computer codes and HTML jargons that's why I need help from time to time!

M- alamoyan!

This trick will allow you to navigate the text word by word instead of letter by letter.

How about selecting entire words instead of letter by letter? This is what does the trick, selecting your text word by word.

Doubt there is a faster way of ‘bulldozing’ through your unwanted text than this.

Instead of reaching for that mouse, try selecting your whole line of text with this.

Keep this trick handy if you like to Facebook in office.

Well this is certainly an eye-catching shortcut. Try it to see what I mean.

Heading to the pantry for a quick bite? What better way to spend more time in the pantry than locking down your pc.

System’s hanging? Disable the troubled application with this trick.

Cropping down a screenshot with multiple windows is a major pain, especially if you are a desktop real estate magnate. Capture a shot of your active window with this trick.

Forget about the right-clicking method, for this works with multiple files as well.

A common trick applicable to major applications, including browsers, word processors and Photoshop.

Done with the part requiring magnification? Use this trick to get your normal view.

If you prefer to run searches with a new tab, this is bound to be handy.

Definitely one of the most important tricks in the book; if you accidentally close your webpage while on something important, this will save your butt.

Why run through your massive list of Favourites if the URL has been etched into your memory?

Carrie Bradshaw as a Mom

To all Sex and the City fans, have you ever wondered what Carrie Bradshaw would be like if she and Mr. Big have decided to have a family instead of " Me and You; Just Us Two"?

Vogue gives us the glimpse of what it would've been like (through photos).

According to Vogue.com:
Our August issue, which hits newsstands this week, welcomes the return ofSarah Jessica Parker, marking the sixth time she’s graced our cover since 2002—back when Sex and the City was just becoming a worldwide phenomenon, and Parker was rapidly rising as one of fashion’s most original icons. She’s been a Vogue regular ever since, whether appearing with Chris Noth in an epic New York–centric spread, looking resplendent in one of her favorite Alexander McQueen looks, posing with her then-newborn son, James Wilkie, in 2003, or, in her latest shoot, at home with James and his little sisters as well as her husband, Matthew Broderick. Angle prior to disagreement

Never disagree with a man facing him;

Turn around, go to his back and see things from his angle;
In this position you will see things from where he is standing;
And you might learn to understand where he is coming from.

Dear Paulie and Sasa,
Never mind that my right shoe fell off my feet and rolled to the steps in the lecture hall;
Never mind that the cover of my sign pen took off like a space ship and rolled under the chair where our professor was seated;
Never mind that I might have been a laughing extra during the Q&A portion and got caught on camera laughing at the background when someone was trying to be heard...

I was really listening at the lecture hall last week. :)

Marc Anthony- Machismo much?

Last week when the news about JLo and Marc Anthony officially breaking up surprised me because I've always thought that finally, JLo decided to settle down.

I remember back in college when we were all partying to the groove's of JLo's album ( JLO album, the one what made JLo, JLO!) Mina was telling me that Jennifer Lopez (who was then dating P.Diddy) got jailed together. (See article here) and of course, JLo's short-lived relationship with Ben Affleck.

So when she finally tied the knot with Marc Anthony and got two gorgeous kids ( twins!) I thought, wow, FINALLY! And I admired her for being such a ( just what jenni epperson said) GLAMom!

Diet? What Diet?

Oh how it sucks to be a food blogger when you are on a diet...

Imagine having to write about this for breakfast...

Joey Peperoni's Pesto Pizza (fr Apy's beau)
 This appetizer while waiting for lunch...
Apy's homemade fries
Then this for Lunch...
Apy's Fish Fillet
 And that's only the first part of the day ... of the first day of a weekend!

So Diet? What diet?

Chowking Chinese-Style Fried Chicken

This commercial, like any other consumer got me intrigued. And this sign ourside Chowking got me intrigued:

So one day, out of running out of ideas where to have lunch, my friend and I decided  to go to Chowking on a lunch hour. She ordered something else but I decided to order this Chinese Style Chicken and see what the fuss is all about.

Ratings:
Taste - Just like any regular fried chicken.
Crunchiness - Crunchier than their old version of how they do their chicken.
Value for Money - check

Over-all impact:
Regular. It doesn't taste like I have to have it again.

Oh Commercials! Good thing I had a subject about Advertising when I was in college,
 (and boy, did I listen well! )

Mio Cucina in Los Banos

I've been hearing about Mio Cucina along Lopez Avenue and one lunch hour, I finally had the chance to experience it after raves and word of mouth.

Warning: Photo loaded entry - too lazy to write today because I've got papers due but I hope I was able to make it up to you through the photos I've taken.
