Review: Krazy Garlik (Resorts World vs. Alabang Town Center)

I've seen Krazy Garlik Restaurant in Alabang Town Center but never had the curiosity to try it out until we decided to have lunch at their Resort's World branch on Aprille's birthday right before our flight to Japan.

I asked the nice lady who seated us why it was called Krazy Garlik. She said almost all of the dishes are Garlic-based. They even put it on some drinks and it tasted good, you wouldn't even think it's garlic!

It was nice that we have the place to ourselves as we happen to be there right when they opened. And because they have free, fast, wifi, my family were all on their gadgets.

Read more about our Krazy Garlik experience after the jump!

In fairness, the food did not disappoint:
Amazing Krazy Garlik Salad (To share Php 545; Regular Php325)
Honey Fried Chicken (Php 415)
Stuffed Pechay with ground pork inside (Php 295)
Tuna Belly (Php425)
BBQ Riblets ( I forgot the price, but it's around Php 400)
My favorite drink: Citrus Mint (Php105)
On Mother's day we went to Krazy Garlik again, this time at the Alabang Town Center (ATC) Branch, and pretty much ordered the same thing.

But we had more drinks this time. All priced at Php 105.

And we tried their dessert, Baked Alaska, which looks like a cake but is pure Vanilla ice cream on the inside.

Baked Alaska (Php 295)

Now for the quick review:
  • Good customer service. The lady next to our table complained about her friend chicken that she felt was too dry but ate it anyway because she was hungry and finished it. They gave it for free, (unlike the bad customer service of the Old Spaghetti House).
  • Fast service, we didn't have to wait for long. We tried being the first customers and during the peak hour which is lunch hour, and we didn't really had to wait for so long to eat.
  • Because the food is good, even the vegetables, the price is pretty expensive. Check out Krazy Garlik's Menu here.

The only thing I wasn't such a fan of, besides the price being expensive, was when we were dining at the ATC branch, the manager, just as we are about to eat, tried to sell us their Bistro card (discount card). I know it was a requirement but the manager at the Resorts World did that while we were waiting for our food. He did not timed us while we were about to eat our food.
