I found the perfect 2013 planner for me

I remember contemplating about planners last year. I've always been the one who's really obsessed about papers, pens and planners because I really use planners/organizers and my bag is really heavy because of it. I can forget a make-up kit but I feel incomplete without my planner in my bag. And because of this, I really enjoy shopping, searching, discovering new planners that would suit my current phase.

You see, I've had my share of acquiring the much awaited Starbucks planners for three years then moved on to Belle de Jour Planners. I was able to abuse enjoy Starbucks freebies such as buy 1 take 1 coupons on special holidays and free stationery. Belle de Jour is good but it has become too feminine and girly for my taste now.

When I moved to Laguna two years ago, I didn't get the chance to use my coupons free in the BDJ planner that I ended up just giving them away to my classmates in graduate school who lives in Manila.

Last year, I just got a very simple planner/notebook that costs less than Php200. I just didn't see why I should get a fancy one, then I got bored. I didn't like the paper that much and I don't enjoy writing on it. ( I have a love affair with nice papers and thin black sign pens)

So this year, I was determined to get a cheaper one, but very small, and handy but with a nice paper feel something like moleskine but not as expensive. I was excited going through some planners in the bookstore when my eyes laid down on this:

I think it's the newest planner from Viviamo, makers of the fancy planners such as Belle de Jour and Navi - planner for travelers.

See the yellow dots? That's braille characters for the word "POSSIBLE". Cool huh? :)

I think this is the perfect one for me because:

  • It has a lot of positivity quotes and affirmations.
  • The divisions are very much goal and achievement oriented.
  • It's empowering.
  • It goes along with my personal advocacy: Being grateful.
  • It doesn't have any of those free coupons from shops ( good, because I don't/can't use them anyway)

Take a peak:

I think this planner is perfect for 2012 because I'm gearing towards bigger and long term goals strating January next year and I am still pursuing, living, advocating for Positivity.

For Planner enthusiasts, how's your 2013 Planner hunting going?

Haha! It took me 3 trips to NBS for me to decide if I'm going to get it or not. Kaso I need it na because I have bigger stuff lined up na as early as January and I kinda need the affirmations. :)
