I've been seeing it when driving to San Pablo City Laguna. It is only now that I learned that they just opened Bed and Breakfast as well.
We went and parked inside the place to see this building to meet a cake designer. It gives that old school, Panahon ng hapon (old Japanese time) feel. But I see other photographer feasting on the antique display of cars, old liquor brandy barrels and scooters.
We went to the other side, and saw this:
This is the meeting place. Isn't this cute? The cake designer who's a regular customer of Sulyap told us that this is where she usually meets up her clients.
She also told us that this house was transferred from the old house that the owners bought in Quezon. They even used the exact same old materials, so it's really antique.
I just don't like the immediate steep staircase that welcomes you when you arrive:
But this is what it looks from where I was sitting:
I love the staircase shelves, by the way:
During client meeting:
You can also sit outdoors:
So many interesting antique pieces around the house:
Look at the altar:
I just have to have a photo of this phone! I forgot to have a photo taken with me pretending to use this phone.
I went up to the second floor to take photos:
I had to use flash to show you better photos:
The house outside:
Their restroom is open air and has bamboo plants inside:
My best friend would love this dresser. She's very much into antiques.
This is the newly opened Bed and Breakfast place. too bad, I didn't get the chance to check the room out, maybe next time when we give it a proper visit.
Very timely that I saw a friend's car who's on a secret date, few minutes before we arrived in Sulyap. Maybe I would recommend this place to him and ask for his review.
