What to expect when you're expecting a wedding album, Kuya Stew

Dear Kuya, since you're getting married in 25 days starting tomorrow, I thought I might as well give you a preview of how your wedding album would look like.

Yes, there would be a photo of the bride's wedding gown. In the Philippines, it's the bride's big day.
Yes, there will be a photo of even the most mundane objects such as shoes. It's included in the protocol.

Yes, there would be shots like this. I know you won't understand, but if the photographers can capture every itty bitty detail, the bride would want her whole day documented.
And her entourage, the girls, would always be present in the preparation.
Yes, girls are like this at weddings:
Yes, she will be asked to pose like this wearing her wedding gown. Oh by the way, according to tradition, you're not supposed to see the bride hours or minutes before the wedding march/ceremony. They said it's bad luck.
She will be photographed at another angle, if she says so. Or if the photographers says so.

Before you make such complete mockery of the whole pictorial thing, do not forget that YOU will be documented as well.

Yes, the photographer will capture your wedding outfit.

The photographer would capture a photo of you talking to your best man/groomsmen/junior groomsmen. Please act cool.

I don't know who will be tasked to do this, usually it's the best man, but I think it's cool if it's Uncle Dave who's going to do this for you. Haha! It's like seeing the before and after.

Yes, the photographer will capture every move that you will make. Even as ordinary as this:

Sometimes, the shot maybe too staged that you're forced to converse with your mates when you don't really have anything to talk about. Especially not at this moment.

And of course, there must be a proper photo of the guys with you all dressed up for your big day. It's your wedding too, y'know?

Of course, there must always be the picture of the wedding ceremony:
Your wedding vows will be captured:
And of course, the much awaited first married couple kiss!
There will always be the family/entourage shot:

Don't worry Kuya, we will try our very best not to embarrass you in this shot.

Sometime, mostly after the wedding, you will be asked by the photographer to pose for couple shots after you've been declared husband and wife. Usually this happens while all your guests and entourage are on their way to the reception. This will give you time to make your grand entrance at the reception.

Yes, if a certain prop like that frame is provided, you will use it.

Remember when you used to laugh at mushy shots? You will have those too!

Of course, there will be reception photos:

And you will have your first dance as husband and wife:

Then the photographer will try to catch something candid and romantic:

Oh boy, I hope your shoes fit you well and I hope you're practicing not to trip, so as not to embarrass your bride.

Okay fine, I know, upon reading this, you're probably started freaking out because your guests from UK have started flying to the Philippines batch by batch, but don't worry, the bride will not forget your most important, if not only, concern:

The Booze

It's really happening now Kuya Stew! Hahaha! I hope this post won't freak you out. Remember, when everything seemed not how you want it to be, there's always booze to calm you down. :)
