So busy that I can't get anything done

Seriously.

Ever since December hit the town I've been putting loads in my plate not to mention saying YES to almost every invite.

I seriously can't get anything done unless I cram. ( Hello there @yeyeahye, I'm  a certified UPian now.)

Despite my being busy and all, I've been really having a good night sleep.

I've got drafts lined up but I can't seem to have the time to really sit on it and blog. I've been taking my life seriously and really living it so most of the time I am off cyberspace.

And I don't use my mobile phone that much anymore. So rare that I think I want a pager, but I doubt if people still remember using a pager.

I never really thought that I'd get to say this but yeah, IGNORANCE can sometime be a BLISS.

To Travel

The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.

I did not get the window seat when I took this photo but it surely feels nice knowing that you're bound to your next destination.
I tweeted before that I woke up one morning feeling so old but for the first time in my life, I feel like my heart is going to be at the right place this time.

I still feel that way, a week later.

Like everything finally made sense.

I know I don't recuperate as fast as the others and I seem to have my own phase but I am getting everything now.

I've been wearing classes to get clear vision since 2007 but I've never seen my perspective as clear as this. Especially about you and me.

So I will travel. Not because I am running away from you because I chose to let go, let my self off the hook and because our chapter is done and I've got the rest of the chapters to read.

So I will travel.

Because this book is not about you, it's about me.

Planned Change

That birthday trip did open up a few things to me and I realized that:

Source
Some things that I picked up from class last weekend:

  • Different people, different reaction to change
  • For any change, adjustments will have to be made
The Myths:
  • All people are resistant to change.
  • All change brings improvement.
  • Change is always expected and it doesn't always come from chance.
  • Change always brings hardships.
  • Change can happen overnight.
I was scribbling notes while in class, nodding, agreeing and reflecting on some things my Professor shared... but little did she know I was relating it to the hardest thing to understand. Ever.

LOVE.

Damn. I can really work my way into understanding Algebra and Statistics but I always flunk when it comes to that subject.

So therefore today, I am taking a step to plan this change because just like what I have answered in last weekend's pop quiz:

Real change can be brought about by perfect timing (maturity) and space.

Oh Time. Why do you always seem to be so hard on me?

Thank you @yeyeahye for Amapola

I got an early Christmas gift from my friend Yeye:

I think at one point I might have seen Amapola's house!

I've read the first line of the book and I already knew why she thinks I must have a copy!

Love you Ye! I have this really good feeling that I'm going to love this book and thank you for giving my my first Tagalog Book!

Must Try: Majid's Persian Kabab in Davao City

I still couldn't find the time to post stuff about that trip to Davao so I will just post a few things when I can. I've been juggling a lot of things lately and I've been very busy. For real.

I remember reading the plane's magazine about the things you have to see in Davao. We' re only there for a couple of days and our schedule's been really hectic. I was reading something about a really yummy kabab at Majid's that is a must-try when in Davao.

So can you imagine how wide my smile is when I saw this:

It's the Kabab House that I read in the magazine

We arrived there 30 minutes prior to their closing time and found out that they were close the next day!

I am such a huge fan of Cholo kebab and the last time I had a really good one was years ago! I'm happy that I got the chance to eat Kabab while strolling the streets of Davao City on our first night.

Sorry for the crappy photos, I do not have a decent camera during that night.

Davao was good, but I was not swept off my feet as hard a Cebu. Thank God for Pearl Farm, which I will be creating a separate entry for sometime soon.

Hollywood Forever Cemetery peg

This post is way too late because I had forgotten that it's been sitting on my drafts folder for several weeks.

If you google "Hollywood Forever Cemetery" images, you'll find this:

Last All Saints Day, the memorial park we went to has the same peg:

I thought they're going to show scary movies at the cemetery but they showed "Rio" and "Thor". By past 9pm they had fireworks display.

I'm wondering what they'll be showing next year.

Hmmmnnn....

I will Taylor Swift You

You know how Taylor Swift is popular for writing songs based on her love life?

And who can ever forget that famous song "Dear John" about John Mayer?

And for those of you who knew about my old blog, that I write about the selected "award-winning" men that I have gone out with?

Guess what baby? Since you're googling me a lot, I guess I have to be fair that I should warn you.

A friend told me today that perhaps my past relationship stories are meant to be told as warning for friends. I appreciate how my ranting and regrets appeared to be some kind of crazy wisdom that I share with my friends.

You have been warned baby. I will Taylor Swift you.

I don't care if you Kanye West me, because I will fuckin' Chris Brown you.

Both of you.

Happy Birth-month Blog!

I just recently came back from a vacation only to find my self needing a vacation from my vacation. Since I no longer have time to book a trip, I went ahead and booked my self  the most sure way to transport my self from all the stress in my "reality".

The spa that I go to has this "Close to Heaven" package  I told my self before that I will only get that package only when I feel that the time is right. Because I can't take pictures while getting things done, I just borrowed photos from the internet.

The Package includes:

A Foot Spa
Source
A Body Scrub
Source
A body bleaching session ( This is what it looks like, all white but only on the body and not on the face). Couldn't find a similar one on the internet.

And a full body hard massage

And yesterday, I bid November 2011 goodbye by spending literally half of the day just getting scrubbed off my old self (read: skin). I was so happy to know that my favorite therapist is finally back after 3 months of out of town vacation and I had my self my much needed hard massage that I've been lusting for, for quite sometime now.

And because I spent almost the entire day at the spa, they gave me a freebie treat to have hair hot oil treatment. My Kuya waited for me in the spa for more than four hours! ( I love having an older brother! Haha!) But hey he got some fancy treat at the spa as well.

Still trying to rummage through the several pictures from my birthday vacay but will try to find time before the year ends.

Yes,before the year ends.

It's December now! Can you believe it? This blog is officially a year old! I only remembered that it has been year just as I was typing "before the year ends".

Happy Birthday month Blog! I can't believe you have more than 21,200 page views in one year!

Thank you and Good Vibes everyone!

Cheers! <3
