UPLB VetMed's Pet Show

I spent my Valentine's day morning covering UPLB College of VetMed's Pet Show for work. It's actually my first time to attend a pet show and I'm glad my friend, Kat, came with me.

More of the cute pets after the jump!

Before the show, Father Cacao blessed the pets, pet owners and guests.
My friend Kat brought her shih tzu-maltese for the show.
Happy to see my friend and classmate in Graduate School, Josh Octura, whose building is near the venue.

By the way, if you think Josh Octura looked familiar, that is because (besides the fact that this guy is very smart) he is also a talented singer:

(Hello Josh! Don't hate me for posting this haha!)

I wish I brought my friend's kid, Cheska, who wanted to become a Veterinarian when she grows up. She would totally love the show as it showcased different kinds of animals. I wanted to upload more photos of the dogs and other animals but that would take too much time loading so I hope you enjoy this mini collage that I made. Although I still failed to feature some of the animals who were there to strut their cute stuff.

And it's my first time to see a guinea pig for pet show. Kat knows the pet owner so...
I couldn't resist. I just had to see and hold them for myself.

But Josh is worse than me. Here he is having a nose-to-nose moment:
Other activities include free anti-rabies vaccination for cats and dogs.

Now I'm looking forward to next year's show!
