An hour before end of shift yesterday, we had a black out. Since I have one hour to kill and with a battery fully charged, I did what an ordinary person would do: play with stuff on the phone.
Days ago, I downloaded this application for Blackberry called Avatar Builder and got the Female Avatar Builder version:
It gives you several options like choosing your skin color, hair, eyes shape, brows, and loads more.
It's like choosing foundation color! I chose the second one for I am...ehem...caramel skinned.
I chose hairstyles according to fancy:
And the shape of my eyes... you even get to choose the color ( colored contacts + eyeshadow pegs):
And the lips of the day:
Jeans? Shorts? Skirts?
You get to choose which hand holds the gadget plus other accessories:
Here are my saved Avatars that I can also edit when I change my mind:
From left to right, top to bottom:
Dressed up Kitin, At home Kitin, Working out Kitin and Not in the mood Kitin! Haha!
If you're wondering about the watermarks, I downloaded screenmuncher to take screen shots of my Blackberry phone.
After saving the Avatar, I can choose which one to use as my Display Picture. :)
Tsk Tsk. This is what happens when I have too much time on my hands. Haaay...

First of all I would like to tell that this is very cool blog, I liked it a lot. How did that digital paper dolls are made? When I was a kid, I was daily play with these kind of paper stuffs.
Thank you rc boot! Since it's digital, you can only play dress up with them by choosing outfits and accessories via phone. Down side is you can only dress/play one at a time. Unfortunately it's not as good as having to hold an actual paper doll and play fantasy scenarios with 'em. But the fun part is getting excited about what the product outcome would look like once it's done.:)
