2 colors,8 letters 2 words then my heart skips a beat: Book Sale

It is almost impossible for me to go to a mall and leave without at least dropping by a bookstore. Most of the time, I always head to the directory to look for this green and white sign called BOOK SALE.

I like how BOOK SALE Branch is almost available in practically every mall in the country.

My fellow book lovers:

"Tis better to have loved and lost;
Than never to have loved at all."
- Alfred Lord Tennyson

Better to have loved and lost...
Than to lose your well-loved books.
- Book Sale

The hardest part of being in a book sale is getting the top favorite books that I fancy at that time while working on a certain budget.

Sometimes I have to consider what book category I will be getting but most of the time I get books from the Chick Literature category.

Lately I am more interested in memoirs/humor and feminist studies. I think I am slowly graduating from the Chick Literature phase.

The saddest part of being in a book sale? When you have the time, money and energy to go book/treasure hunting but can't find a good one to take home. It's a good thing my sister found this for me:

I got this for Php 115.00 (pretty steep from what I can usually find with my own haggling, normally I can get Php40.00/book in mint condition and hard bound cover). I haven't read this one yet, since I am juggling work and Grad School but the reviews sounds promising.

What are your new finds lately?

*** Thank you Apy for taking the photos.
