Senate Office of the Philippines (Part1)

My Policy and Public Administration class decided to go on a weekday trip to visit either the Senate or Congress. I'm glad we chose Senate because I've been to Congress before.

What the Philippine Senate looks like, first, we were greeted by an exhibit:

(more after the jump)

Then we had the opportunity to go the session hall:

These seats are for the Senator's secretariat and staff

Pre-session
These are for the Senator's special guests
The Senate President's seat and the secretariat team that transcribes the session

Senators' seats ( They have assigned seats for each with their names labeled on the table)
The controversial and recently resigned Migs Zubiri (who's also almuni of UPLB)

The seats in blue are open for the general public
We had the opportunity to listen to the Budget Hearing:

Senator Chiz Escudero

Senator Ralph Recto

Senator Loren Legarda and Senator Antonio Trillanes

The mixtures of guests and staff listening to the session

Hall of Senatorial fame

An old picture of the Senate ( I think former Sen Flavier is kyoooot! Check the lil' man on the right most side of the picture)
I've taken like, 133 pictures for the Senate Office alone so I'm just going to divide the posts into three to avoid too much photo-dumping. :)
