The Philippine Azkals in UPLB

I would like to dedicate this post to "Benjamin Garcia" who's the biggest self-imposed long lost relative of the Younghusbands. (Sige ipagpilitan mo kuya!)

I already knew that Phil and James Younghusband won't be there ( Thanks to connections ) but my nephew who's a member of LBFS (Los Banos Football School) needs to be there by 1pm because according to their coach, the Azkals will have a Photo Op with LBFS ( or the other way around.)

Anyway, today is really funny. Let the pictures' caption speak and tell the story for themselves.

The Azkals already went to the UPLB Grandstand, the people are still looking at the bus... waiting for the Younghusbands.

The Camera man

People still waiting for the familiar "Azkals" , the Younghusbands. Most of them didn't know that the entire team already passed them by.

And I was happily taking pictures of what's happening because I already knew that this funny experience is blog-worthy!

Finally, People were called to gather in front of the UPLB Grandstand

ERRATUM: Askals' Head Coach Michael Weiss enjoying the attention (Mga ateh, kilala nyo ba yan?) 

 I got so bored so I watched other men in uniforms instead...

But what caught my attention is ... the Azkals' bus seem to catch the attention. People never left the bus!

Ladies and Gents and gheys...the spectators. 

I even overheard a little gay guy (who came from the crowd around the bus) that he really double checked to see if any of the Younghusbands are left inside. 

Something interesting: People are requesting for this Kuya to take the picture of the interiors of the bus. (To see where they sleep, LOL!)

Of course, who could resist the Younghusband's face... ON THE BUS!

This lady insisted to go inside the bus to really check is there are no more Azkals left sleeping inside the bus.  It turned out that Phil and James are really not there. LOL!

 So my little nephew and I just enjoyed the rest of the day, we went to take a walk...

 And amused ourselves with everything we can see on the street...

 And we happily found ourselves in...

 McDonalds!

McDonald's Saves the day! 

Lesson learned for this day:

Due to too much influence of "Globalization" we fail to really recognize who the real "Philippine/Pinoy Azkals" are.

But still... go Azkals! <3
